This position is responsible for developing and implementing treatment program curriculum and supervising clinical staff.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures quality control of client’s records.
  • Conducts training per requirements of the program.
  • Ensures that all clinical staff is aware of their assigned area of responsibility.
  • Assigned residents to selected details and assign supervision of the details to specific shift supervisors.
  • Conducts audits of program files ensuring compliance with agency standards.
  • Serves as the Hearing Officer for residents with program violations.
  • Maintains and manages ACA Accreditation Requirements.
  • Handles emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Monitors and inspects building and grounds for safety, maintenance, security and sanitation.  Maintains all federal, state and local codes and safety requirements to include ACA standards.
  • Assure residents’ accountability
  • Responsible for resident discipline.
  • Coordinates with outside agencies for training targeted to programming goals.
  • Performs the Case Management duties when needed.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings.
  • Communicates verbally and/or through the “Log Book” information needed by staff and other shifts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field from a recognized college or university.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
  • Available for on-call status.
  • Experience in treatment programming in a residential facility may substitute for the required Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Ability to use personal computers and associated software applications.
