Job Description

Facility: ARAPAHOE COUNTY RESIDENTIAL(ACRC)

Compensation Base: $17.35

Compensation Bonus (if applicable):

This is a full time position with PTO and benefits.

We are a 24/7 operational facility.  

The shift is 12 hours,  Overtime may be requested as per facility needs. 

Summary

  • This position maintains an orderly environment within the facility and performs standard operating procedures in accordance with facility policies and procedures and required Company and the client’s contractual requirement. This position follows daily schedules and performs the duties of this position in an exemplary manner at all times.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervises all resident movement when arriving and leaving the facility
  • Reports resident accidents or injuries to supervisor.
  • Provides orientation to new residents and discharges others
  • Interacts with residents and participates in interventions
  • Performs scheduled resident headcounts and Facility Walkthroughs
  • Conducts daily inspections and ensures facility cleanliness
  • Completes pat searches and property searches
  • Monitors residents ingestion of medications.
  • Participates in resident incentive and sanction program
  • Attends conferences, seminars, training sessions, and workshops, as instructed by the Resident Manager Supervisor.
  • Works with a team and ensures best customer service practices
  • When assigned, monitors eye drug testing.
  • Reports all resident behavioral problem incidents in writing to supervisor and conducts appropriate crisis intervention.
  • Collects urine samples for random and routine substance abuse screenings of residents.
  • Monitors security cameras to maintain safe and secure orderly environment for residents.
  • Supervises resident visitations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

 Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; one  general work year experience
  • Ability to serve as a model for resident behavior; good interpersonal skills.
  • Required skills include: time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
