Summary

This position assists with data entry, maintains databases, assists in assembling and shipping training materials, researches current evidence-based practices to incorporate into training content.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in data entry and upkeep of spreadsheet information.
  • Assists in creating and shipping training materials.
  • Creates training certificates and assists with record keeping in the learning management system.
  • Assists with updating training library.
  • Assists with editing written work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in Criminal Justice or other Social Science majors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills preferred (pivot, graphs). 
  • Proficient in conducting research. 
  • Knowledge of SPSS is a plus. 
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner in both individual and group settings.
  • Ability to work with a team and ability to implement team strategy approaches to work assignments.
  • Good oral and written communication.
  • Ability to conduct research on the Internet.
  • Basic analytical skills highly desirable.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
