This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing multi-channel strategic marketing plans to support business growth and retention. This position is responsible for developing the product messaging and positioning to drive demand, enhance the Company’s reputation and market presence, and educate government agencies, legislators, and community stakeholders.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and oversees strategic marketing plans and competitive positioning in line with company objectives to differentiate GEO Care products/programs/services in the market.
  • Writes and edits high-impact copy to articulate the value proposition, benefits, and company offerings, including print, web, email, advertisements, news releases, blogs, social media, etc.
  • Project manages marketing initiatives including conducting status and project kick off meetings, tracking project deliverables, and identifying project issues.
  • Develops and maintains a content calendar for targeting various audiences while driving content creation for web, social, video, email, and more.
  • Evaluates projects using KPIs and feedback from stakeholders to measure and improve results.
  • Analyzes market trends to position products and maintains thorough knowledge of company products, programs, services, competitive landscape, and industry-related topics.
  • Maintains a strong relationship with the partnership development teams and is knowledgeable on the proposal development process and status.
  • Works closely with the creative services team on the design and production of marketing collateral.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in marketing communications or public relations with experience in strategic planning and business writing.
  • Two (2) years of personnel management experience preferred.
  • Excellent business writing and editing skills for grammar, voice, flow, and storytelling.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work, and manage concurrent projects.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing and advertising channels, including display advertising, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media, and mobile marketing.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively and innovatively.
  • Effective oral, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Takes initiative to resolve issues and bring clarity to grey areas.
  • Ability to create and implement processes to drive quality, speed, and volume.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
