Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM (2nd Shift) 



We are seeking energetic, compassionate, hopeful LPNs to assist with detox admissions and provide patient care support during detoxification process including pre-screening, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, monitoring of patient, administering drugs, medications, treatments, and tests.

This position will be working with patients in a detox environment and will require candidates to be sensitive to difficulties of clients undergoing social and physical treatment in this environment. 

Essential Functions:

    • Identifies normal versus abnormal physical issues of patients and supports assessment.

    • Administers medications as indicated. Documents medication therapy and maintains appropriate records pertaining to controlled substances- (Dispensing Methadone and other detoxification medicines) 

    • Recognizes change in patient physical and emotional status and reports appropriate information to the appropriate personnel.

    • Demonstrates an understanding of the purpose of medication in treatment and assesses the patient for anticipated actions. Contraindications and side effects.


    • Tues- Friday 3-11.
      Sat. 11 pm-7 am 

      Off Sunday and Monday.




Job Requirements


Minimum Requirements: 

  • Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Illinois and two years of experience; One to two years of experience working with chemically dependent or mentally ill patients preferred. 

      • Other Qualifications: 

          • At least twenty-one (21) years of age.

          • Criminal clearances and background check.

    • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
