Facility: SW ILLINOIS CORRECTIONAL CENTER-IN-PRISON

Compensation Base: $11.66 Hourly

Summary

  • This position is responsible for maintaining contract compliance as it relates to daily responsibilities of running the facility. It supervises multiple departments within assigned facility. Serve as facility leader in promoting the policies and procedures of the Company and serves as the Director’s point of contact for the client’s contract.

 

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • General computer work and typing, word processing, filing and basic writing of reports and letters as required by the program elements, licensure and by the Director, Assistant Director, Housing Unit Supervisor, Clinical Manager or designee.

 

  • Works as a team member with treatment and ancillary personnel to promote consistent and coordinated efforts. 

 

  • If deemed necessary – Clerk will assist Program Evaluator with monitoring and assessing clients, reviewing and correcting data files as related to TCU CEST, filing forms and keying in data.

 

  • Other general clerical duties as may be requested by the Director, Assistant Director, Housing Unit Supervisor, Clinical Manager or designee.

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • The DASA Clerk will be a high school graduate or equivalent, a minimum of 18 years of age and must be a level of maturity to deal with the sensitive issues inherent in a treatment / correctional facility. BA degree preferred. The DASA Clerk must have good typing and word processing abilities, general computer literacy capability and office skills as well as good organizational skills.

    Job Specifications:
    Based in Recovery Point or other locations as approved by GEO Program Director.

    Working Conditions: Must be capable of working in an aggressive and somewhat stressful environment.
