Summary
The position provides legal guidance to Company management primarily regarding general liability litigation, discovery and eDiscovery.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities This position may be expected to perform any of the duties or responsibilities as described below: - Assists in the management of general liability and auto liability litigation in collaboration with the General Counsel and a third-party claim’s administrator.
- Provides guidance on legal strategy and case valuation.
- Drafts or revises legal documents (e.g., motions, briefs, discovery responses or legal memoranda).
- Oversees and manages company’s legal hold program.
- Continuously identifies and implements process improvements in the delivery of legal services.
- Develops strong partnerships with internal clients and cross-functional areas to achieve successful business outcomes.
- Develops and delivers training on various legal issues to client groups.
- Contributes to successful development and implementation of departmental initiatives through collaboration and teamwork.
- May review and draft contracts with clients, vendors and contractors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
