Summary:  

The candidate for this position provides service to internal and external callers and visitors, while handling a  variety of simple, routine tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Greet all incoming visitors in the utmost professional manner. The Receptionist acts as the primary contact for callers and guests visiting the facility.  It is essential that they are greeted in the utmost professional manner so as to portray the professional atmosphere of the facility. This candidate needs to have the ability to handle a variety of simple, routine tasks. The receptionist will maintain calendars and daily visiting logs.
  • Maintain calendars and daily visiting logs
  • Operate telephone systems, route incoming calls and record and distribute

  • High school diploma / GED equivalent
  • At least 1 year of secretarial or clerical experience
  • Successful completion of criminal background check, driver’s license check, and drug screening
  • This candidate should have at least 1 year of secretarial or clerical experience or equivalent

  • At least 1 year of secretarial or clerical experience
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish
  • Successful completion of criminal background check, driver’s license check, and drug screening
  • This candidate should have at least 1 year of secretarial or clerical experience or equivalent
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to stay calm and respectful and maintain professionalism in all situations
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department
