BI Incorporated is the U.S. leader for offender monitoring products and services that help federal state, and local agencies monitor parolees, probationers, pretrial defendants, and involved in the U.S. immigration court process as they live in the community and we are hiring for our Anderson, IN Technical Support Center.


Provides administrative support for management and assigned departments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answers all incoming phone calls and directs to the appropriate employee. Pages employees when necessary.
  • Sorts and distributes mail to appropriate employees and departments.
  • Greets visitors, issues visitor badges and maintains visitor sign-in log. Escorts visitors when necessary.
  • Provides administrative support for the Human Resources Department preparing new hire packets, creating and maintaining employee files and making employee badges.
  • Provides administrative support for Monitoring departments as requested. May include mailings, errands, events and hosting of customer visits.
  • Assists Monitoring Customer Service by processing customer correspondence, preparing packets for new customers with proper documentation.
  • Assists Installer Services Manager with reports, inventory management, mileage verification and customer phone line installation.
  • Absorbs overflow of Monitoring Operations duties when needed, verifying photo match, court tracking and CODOC client call in line.
  • Schedules travel for Monitoring Operations staff as necessary.
  • Assist Facilities Coordinator to pick up supplies and catering in absence of delivery options.
  • Assists Office Manager with tracking of legal requests, and maintenance of log of inquiries/results.
  • Serves as a Notary for legal documents as necessary.
  • Backup support for Administrative Assistant – Monitoring.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Up to two years of experience as a receptionist using a multiple line phone system.
  • At least two years of experience in providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise tact and confidentiality with internal and external contacts at all levels.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
  • United States Citizenship required.
  • Must live in the U.S. 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad accepted).
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Working Conditions: Encountered on a regular basis as part of the work this job performs.

  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as copier, computer, keyboard, telephone and fax machine.
  • Ability to carry up to 10 pounds to meter mass mailings, maintain paper supply in printers & copiers.
