Abraxas Ohio, located in Shelby, Ohio is looking for strong, self-asserting staff members, who have the capacity to deal with high-risk adolescents who have behavioral and emotional difficulties. Adolescents may experience frequent emotional crisis and be assaultive and/or destructive. You must have the skills to verbally de-escalate a crisis and to use mature judgment with youth who are out of control. You will need leadership skills, milieu management skills, high energy levels, self-discipline, a cool approach to volatile situations, reliability, flexibility, and dedication.
