Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing inmates to maintain and upkeep the outside area of the facility’s compound and not limited to grass mowing, cleaning the vehicles, snow and ice removal and other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Issues and maintains control of all tools used by the offenders; ensures that sufficient and proper materials, supplies and tools are on hand to complete each day’s work.
- Oversees the offenders assigned to outside maintenance assignments.
- Maintains grounds outside the compound including mowing grass and landscaping.
- Cleans parking lot and pick up trash.
- Keeps records as required to ensure all activities are in compliance with client and Company policies and procedures.
- Transports the offenders from between buildings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
